The choreography of daylight as it moves across and thru a building is a special interest of our studio. We anticipate how the movement of the sun changes throughout the days and seasons, and we design surprising moments of light into each of our projects. Daylighting is both a technical exercise in providing functional light in areas of activity as well as an artistic opportunity to provide the play of shadow / light in the thresholds between those spaces.
